Frequently
Asked Questions
A few answers to support your understanding of this work. If you have additional questions, you’re always welcome to reach out.

You do not need to be facing death to work together. Through Soul Sessions, I support individuals navigating:
Grief (recent or long-held)
Major life transitions or identity shifts
Emotional or energetic release
Spiritual exploration or questioning
Integration after non-ordinary states of consciousness
A desire to feel more grounded, clear, or connected
This work is rooted in the same presence and listening used in end-of-life care, but applied to the many “thresholds” we move through in life. If something is on your heart, it belongs here.
A death doula provides non-medical, emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals and their loved ones before, during, and after death.
This can include:
Sitting bedside and offering calm, grounded "full-self listening"
Guiding conversations around fears, wishes, and meaning
Supporting legacy work or life review
Assisting with rituals, vigils, or end-of-life planning
Holding space for both the dying person and their circle of care
Unlike hospice or medical providers, a death doula is not there to treat or diagnose. The role is to support the human experience of dying by helping bring clarity, comfort, and a sense of peace to a time that can otherwise feel overwhelming.
There is no “too early” point to begin this work.
Some people reach out after receiving a terminal diagnosis. Others come months or even years earlier, when they begin thinking more intentionally about death, aging, or how they want to be supported at the end of life.
Support can also begin:
When navigating anticipatory grief
When a loved one is declining
When conversations feel difficult or avoided
When there is a desire to approach death with more intention and less fear
Early support often allows for deeper preparation, more meaningful conversations, and a greater sense of agency in how this chapter unfolds.
That is completely welcome. The offerings listed are simply examples of how our time can be used, not a limit on what is possible. Sessions are intuitive and shaped around you. Whether you come with something clearly defined or something you can’t quite put into words, we will meet it together. If you’re unsure, you’re still in the right place.
Yes — I offer both in-person and virtual support, depending on the service.
Death doula care is provided in-person and typically takes place in your home, care facility, or wherever you or your loved one are most comfortable
Soul Sessions are available in my home office or via Zoom
Home Clearings are conducted in your space
For death doula services, support is highly personalized and may include scheduled visits, bedside presence, or specific projects such as planning, guidance, or ritual. We begin with a discovery call to understand your needs before moving forward with a custom proposal.
Once your session is booked, all practical details—including location, parking, and Terms & Conditions—are shared through the scheduling system so you can arrive feeling grounded, prepared, and at ease.
